Trainspotting

" I choose not to choose life; I chose something else and the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got heroin?" -Renton of Trainspotting

Before watching this from the title itself I think it is all about the train, a form of transportation, literally a train. But after viewing this film I was wrong. This movie is not a newbie for me, it's just a mirror of  what is happening in our society. In this movie genre it is all about drugs, sex and violence this is where the movie focuses to project in our mind. This movie is not fit for those are very sensitive. Why? Because you can fully understand what they are trying to say to its audience for it has profound elements portrayed in able to be effective and real.

It is all about the different rides of life, if you don't take risks probably you will miss chances in your life it is just a life and death situations that you need to choose whether you will be good or bad. But here he chooses to be bad but became good at the latter part, he just want to proves his bad image more so that it will be effective for us that he is such a gangster through the use of his words and actions like his obsession in taking drugs, fighting violence and having sex.

Moral lessons?
Lessons in a sense that it makes you realize that life is very important, you cannot go to turn back time and change everything that you had. As long as you have a young mind and body use it in a good ways that others can benefit as well from what are you doing. Temptations like drugs, sex and violence you cannot resist for you are curious to experience and explore everything that is revolving around you, What you must bear in mind that every bad person can be good what you need to wait is change. You must not be judgmental or stereotypes to all the persons you know for you don't know what they overcome you must give them a chance to be good for you don't know that they might be better than you.

This movie makes me realize that life is precious in spite and despite of the dilemmas that we are facing.

  1. Your poster says Trainspotting by Jean Luc Godard starring Anthony Hopkins, Terence Stamp, etc. Is that correct?
